Air Chief Marshal A P Singh on Friday said the world can learn from India on how to start and end a conflict quickly, citing the clear objectives of Operation Sindoor.
Speaking at an event, he noted that the Indian military was given full freedom to conduct the operation, with no political restrictions. He highlighted the role of air power during the May 7-10 conflict with Pakistan and described the S-400 missile system as a “game-changer,” leaving the enemy in disarray.
The IAF Chief said many Pakistani military bases were damaged, including infrastructure, radars, control centers, hangars, and aircraft. He also addressed critics of the 2019 Balakot air strikes, presenting evidence of the destruction inflicted during Operation Sindoor.
“Conflict termination was a crucial part of the operation,” he said, stressing that prolonging it could have affected India’s readiness for future conflicts.
